Network Operators, Service Providers, Equipment Suppliers, and Public Safety should provide a Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) card to essential staff critical to disaster recovery efforts and should consider utilizing Wireless Priority Service (WPS) for essential staff. Appropriate training and testing in the use of GETS & WPS should occur on a regular basis (i.e. in conjunction with testing of the corporate disaster recovery plan).
