Network Operators, Service Providers, Equipment Suppliers and Public Safety should ensure if they are using Global Positioning System (GPS) enabled Phase II location solutions, that the GPS satellite location information (e.g., GPS ephemeris, almanac, etc.) is as current as is feasible to assist the handset in providing improved accuracy of the GPS fix, aiding in the reduction of the time of database responses and reduction of the number of database query rebids.
