Network Operators should determine in advance if they will use wireless alternate backhaul systems (microwave radio, free space optics, and satellite communications systems) to re-establish communications and if these technologies are to be deployed it is recommended that path designs be developed for each critical area in advance of deployment with personnel trained to install and optimize the systems.
