Network Operators, Service Providers and Public Safety should coordinate DOS and TDOS detection, verification and recovery efforts with local law enforcement, cybersecurity task forces, State Threat Assessment centers and other law enforcement agencies. The PSAP should have procedures in place that minimize the impact of DOS and TDOS while preserving the evidence needed to support the investigation.
