Network Operators, Service Providers and Public Safety should assess the impact on the routing and delivery of 9-1-1 calls and associated data to legacy and NG PSAPs associated with configuring their networks to support IP connections to NG PSAPs, Legacy Selective Router Gateways, and Legacy PSAP Gateways, as well as SS7-supported trunk connections between Legacy Selective Router Gateways and legacy Selective Routers, and MF trunks from Legacy PSAP Gateways and legacy Selective Routers to legacy PSAPs.
